Elbow Cay - Hope Town - Light House

We visited the light house in Hope Town on Elbow Cay.

The light house was originally red and white.

Apparently the interior used to be bright pink because when they finished the exterior there was no budget for additional paint and the government told them to use what paint they had left. There was a picture in the museum shop, and the owner told us as such.
I took pictures looking up the light house.
And out its windows.

There was an interesting cupboard that followed the curvature of the wall.

I took some pictures of the lens and the mechanical parts surrounding it.

I then took pictures from the balcony outside of the lighthouse up the tower of the surrounding area.

The windows on the top of the lighthouse were really interesting.

And the lenses inside the lighthouse are absolutely fascinating.

I then took photos going back down the light house.
