American Airlines Flight 175

Holly and I flew on American Airlines Flight 175 from Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport to Narita International Airport (outside Tokyo, Japan). We used miles to book business class [B/E Aerospace Super Diamond seat] (our out of pocket cost for the flights for the two of us was under $90 round trip including Boston to Dallas/Fort Worth). Miles are wonderful. We really enjoyed the experience. Our flight was on a 777-200.
Further, we had not slept the night before so that we would fall asleep once on the plane, which we did shortly after the first meal. When we then woke up and took advantage of more food and the entertainment we were well rested and well time shifted for when we arrived in Japan. We thought this worked really well.

American Airlines Flight 797

Some pictures from inside the plane. I think it was a Boeing 777, but I am not sure now. Not too long after we took AA 797 it was canceled. It used to be a US Airways flight, which American Airlines took over. Then it was cancelled. To the best of my knowledge there is no longer a non-stop flight between Philadelphia, PA, USA and Tel Aviv, Israel.
