Crab Cay - Mangroves

Later in the day we took the boat to Crab Cay where there are a bunch of mangroves. We took the dingy into the mangroves.
The mangroves were very pretty and were flowering. This mangrove area was also quite shallow.

We saw little sea turtles. These could swim really fast, outpacing our motorized dingy.

Some people hung off the boat with their snorkel masks in the water to watch under the water as we motored about.

On our way back out of the mangroves we disembarked at a beach and walked around some.

We found more stingrays, or more stingrays found us.

The breaking waves toward the top left of the image below (past the beach) are from the Atlantic Ocean.

Mangrove roots in the water.

The stick looking thing below was a stingray tail. Assuming the stingray it is  attached to is living and buried in the sand you want to be careful not to step on them, otherwise you are likely to get stung.

A few more stingrays visited us before we got back on the dingy to go back to our boat.
