Chiba - JR Chiba Station

We got dinner at JR Chiba station. In our process of looking for which restaurant we wanted to eat at we found a really interesting escalator with two stair sections and a flat section in the middle.

After dinner we took some night photos of the platform while waiting for our train back to Tokyo.

Walking a ways down the platform I found this random semi spiral staircase. It did not appear to be meant for public use.
